Recently, we encountered a working condition that required to be sucked up from a waste acid tank and sent to a sewage treatment station. The depth of the acid tank was 6M. The customer asked whether the green ring lining self-priming pump could suck it up. At such a high depth, generally self-priming pumps cannot be sucked up. After discussions between the sales department and the technical department, we finally adopted a self-priming pump set design, which was installed with a fluorine-lined pump and a fluorine-lined siphon bucket. On a platform, plus automatic float level control. In this way, customers' problems were immediately resolved.
The design is reasonable and the cost is low. There is no need to develop a separate mold, and only a fluorine-filled sealed barrel with a large volume is required.

Then let's talk about the suction principle of the fluorine-lined self-priming pump set. First we fill the siphon bucket with liquid, and then close the valve so that there is only one liquid inlet in the whole bucket connected to the pool. When the pump is started, the centrifugal pump will first remove the acid from the bucket. A vacuum is immediately formed, and the acid liquid in the acid pool is sucked up under the effect of the vacuum, and the air and the acid liquid are mixed and discharged by the pump. In this way, the process is repeated until the vapor is completely discharged. This is the entire process of self-priming.
There are several things to note:
First, the suction height must meet the cavitation margin requirements of the pump. Second, the size of the barrel must be more than five times larger than the air in the inlet pipe.
3. There are no leak points in the entire inlet pipeline and barrel.
